About Susanne Eschke

Who am I? I am a therapist, coach, teacher, social anthropologist and political scientist. For me, nothing is completely private. Who you are shines out into the world, and the more people with healthy minds and souls that walk this planet’s soil, the healthier our planet will be.

In my life I have had many jobs and callings, and all have been (looking back) the right learning at the right time, from being a customer service representative at Gatwick Airport (90s), to development aid, the US Embassy, Deutsche Bahn, teaching children with special needs and who knows where else it will take me.

Since 2014 I have worked exclusively with people from all walks of life who want to address their issues, change their lives, their jobs, their relationships and I have met some incredible people along the way and still feel lucky to have the best job in the world. The work has changed over the years in line with my own changes. I now focus mainly on mental health, couples counselling and life coaching.
I am married with two children who are my salt of the earth, my joy and a wonderful mental load. I have a husband who is also a fabulous parent and has left traditional gender roles behind. He is also a cheerleader and supporter, and I really ‘enjoy’ our marital struggles.

Ethical Integrity

I will also admit that I am human and flawed (as we all are) and listen to your criticisms. I will also be as truthful as I can be. I will also promise to use my humor in our temporary connection to improve your life and overcome your challenges.

Mutual Growth

Rest assured that I will never drag out our work to get money out of you. I have very high ethical standards, and I am also happy to provide a good wrap-up when you are ready.

Why am I doing this?

I love therapy and coaching and believe in the magic they can do when two or three people come together to face pain and challenges. I am a normal person with all my good and bad sides, and I love nothing more than to see a person emerge from a dark place, conflict or challenge, recover, cope and turn their face to the light and smile. Tears, fear and really bad feelings pave the way to that smile and are normal, welcome and part of the full spectrum of human existence. I would like to accompany you on the path to accepting all that you are.
